Hello June 📌

Welcome into the month of June. I don’t know about you but I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and filled with so much joy, I cannot even explain it. The birds arose with a new song as early as 4am as the wind blew. My day was great and spent serving my awesome customers at work. There is something sweet about new beginnings and on days like this, I can’t help but smile and give thanks to God. He alone has been good, kind, and faithful to me. By His grace, we have crossed over into the month of June. Hooray 🥁😊. As long as you and I are alive, there is still so much to be thankful for, so take a moment if you haven’t done so, to thank the Lord for who is in your life and for all that He has done and all that He will do.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.

Psalm 136:1

As another month has approached, it is my prayer that we will continue to seek the face of God more and more. To seek the face of God is know His heart. To know His heart, is to fall deeper in love with Him. We were created to seek the One who made us. Everyday, the Lord awaits us to come into His presence. He longs to speak to us and hear our voices. May we make that choice daily to be found at the feet of Abba, dwelling in the courts of the One who loves and rejoices in us.

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God you than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

Psalm 84:10

June is here which means that the first half of the year is drawing to an end. We will be transitioning into a new season but there’s still so much that God wants to do. Through it all, we must learn to cooperate with Him. The promises of God still stands but are we willing to go through the process? Are we willing to be obedient when He gives instruction. You see too many people want the see the harvest but are never willing to plow or even sow a seed. Maybe you have sowed a seed and are waiting to see the fruit to attest of the faithfulness of God. Still yet, amidst the waiting, God is preparing you in so many ways. He is teaching you valuable lessons for what lies ahead of you. I want you to be reminded of this scripture which is found in Galatians 6:9 that says ^“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Though the waiting may seem long, may you be reminded that God is still at work in your life but even still, He is with you.

When we go back to the very beginning of creation, we are reminded that “God Created”. Everything that God created was good. On the sixth day of creation, God created male and female. After He created, God blessed His own creation by saying “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” God created you and I for a purpose. After creating, He released His blessings over our lives. May you be reminded that you are already blessed beyond measure because the seal of God is upon your life. You are God’s seed and so therefore being a fruit bearer is apart of your DNA. “Be fruitful and increase, child of God.” Because you belong to God, everything that you need has already been deposited within you. You lack nothing because the Lord has supplied all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. ( See Philippians 4:19)

May you find rest in God! As we take gentle yet bold steps into this month, may we learn to fix our eyes on Jesus. No matter the climate and the currency of our situations, may we choose to cling unto the Lord, our helper and our friend. Despite what last month may have looked like for you, press forward knowing that God is by your side. He who has promised is Faithful. God will never leave your nor forsake you. Lean on God always, not on your own understanding. Be obedient to His instructions and draw nearer unto your Maker. In all ways, trust in the Lord. Acknowledge and proclaim His name. Make known of your God wherever you go. May your light shine daughter. Son, may you walk purposefully, giving thanks and glory to God at all times.

May you marvel at the goodness and faithfulness of God throughout this month. For the wedding anniversaries and to the birth of new born babies, I celebrate you all. It’s a time of jubilee 🎉. Rejoice! The Lord is Good and His love/mercies endures forever.
